We value student views about what we do well and what we can do better. If something hasn’t gone as expected during your time at university, there are processes in place to help you raise concerns and seek a fair outcome
Whether you have a complaint about a service, decision or experience, or you would like to appeal a university decision, Griffith provides clear pathways to ensure your matter is considered appropriately. This page outlines your options, the steps involved, and where to access support and advice throughout the process.
Student complaints
We value student views about what we do well and what we can do better.
The Student Complaints Policy and Student Complaints Procedure outline the types of issues and the process you should follow for raising concerns about your University experience that does not accord with the expectations set out in the Student Charter Framework.
Student review and appeals
Decisions matter to you and the University as they affect your experience as a student. Griffith University tries to create a learning environment and culture that supports productive learning; however, it’s acknowledged that at times you may not agree with an academic decision made in relation to your studies or an administrative decision in relation to you as a student. We want your experience at Griffith University to be positive. You have a right to let us know of concerns about the decisions we make.
Report a concern
The University provides anonymous and identified options to report or disclose incidents of bullying, harassment, discrimination and sexual harm.  If you are involved in an incident or are concerned about a member of the university community, and it is not an emergency, you are encouraged to make an online disclosure or report.
