Our chaplaincy service is a multi-faith chaplaincy service. Our chaplains' aim is to support you and your spiritual growth no matter what faith background you come from, or even if you have no faith background.Â
Chaplains provide personal, spiritual, and religious support and well-being to students from all cultural and religious backgrounds. We seek to help students from all cultural and religious backgrounds know this and grow in who they are.
Griffith Chaplaincy offers one-on-one support, providing opportunities to grow spiritually. They also offer regular connection-building events and the celebration of significant religious festivals
Chaplains are interested in your growth and wholeness, whether it is spiritual or not. They are a great place to simply talk and find support. Your beliefs will always be respected.

Griffith University is aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs ) and is committed to tackling global challenges around good health.
Griffith Chaplains understand that:
Chaplains are trained to listen to what you have to say, and they'll be able to either help you out themselves, or know where to send you to get things sorted.
Chaplains are here for everyone, no religion required.
However, if you are looking for religious support chaplains can offer you spiritual direction, prayer and other rituals or point you to someone who is conversant with your religious tradition to help you in this.
Chaplaincy is a safe place to talk through any questions or doubts you might have about faith or to start a conversation around a negative religious experience you may have had.
