By taking part in the Student Academy of Excellence, you can gain academic knowledge as well as in-demand skills including leadership, teamwork, communication, a global perspective and research and industry experience, which will help you stand out upon graduation.
The Student Academy of Excellence produces highly sought-after graduates with the specialist knowledge and broad management competencies to become the CEOs, researchers, educators, creators and community leaders.
Yes. However, this will vary from student to student, but you will need to allow 10 to 15 hours per trimester. You will be required to attend some activities to remain in the Academy. These activities include:

The Student Academy of Excellence does not have a membership fee and participation costs for full cohort events are sponsored by the Student Academy of Excellence. Please note that some optional activities may incur incidental costs, such as travel to and from external venues.
Students participating in international experiences can apply for funding assistance through the Funding webpage or the Student Academy of Excellence webpage. Please note that their should expect to provide their own funds for general expenses such as in-country food and transportation.
The Student Academy of Excellence is an extra-curricular program that provides students with experiences and skills that complement their undergraduate degree.
