Griffith’s Campus Support Team provides 24/7 security services for all emergencies and incidents.
You can call 1800 800 707 (free call) anywhere on campus or visit the relevant campus’ Security Office. If unattended, a telephone is available at the front of each office to contact the team. You can dial Fire, Ambulance, and Police on 000 or 112 from a mobile in the case of an emergency. Griffith Health Services are also available to help at Nathan on (07) 3735 7299 and Gold Coast on (07) 5552 8734.
Campus Support Team
The Griffith University Campus Support Team work to provide a safe and secure campus experience for all.
They focus on safety concerns, on-campus hazards, campus information, first-aid assistance and traffic and parking enforcement, and are the point of contact for all security enquiries. How SafeZone works
SafeZone is an app that allows you to make an emergency call to Security and instantly give them your location. You can also make first-aid calls for medical attention and check-in if you are working alone or in a dangerous environment.

Downloading and registering
You can download the SafeZone app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Install the app, login with your Griffith issued email, and enable the required permissions to complete the registration process.
Coverage areas
SafeZone coverage is restricted to specific areas on Griffith campuses. If you are within the defined area and using the app, Security can respond to your alarm or call.
