    1. Go to 'Find a Course'
    2. Enter your course code in the Search box.
    3. Click Search.

    Answer

For incoming Study Abroad and Exchange students, the minimum study load is 30 credit points per trimester.

If you hold a student visa, you can only study online course(s) for one third of your total program. This means that if you are enrolled in 30 credit points, you can only complete one 10 credit point course via online study.

For further information on Study Abroad and Exchange at Griffith University, visit Global Mobility.

    Answer

Yes. It is a condition of your student visa that you maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of your student visa.

For your convenience, Griffith University automatically arranges visa length OSHC for commencing students at an additional cost to your tuition fees.

The cost of your visa length OSHC is shown in your Letter of Offer and is included in your Total Deposit Fee.
Once your Total Deposit Fee is received, Griffith University will arrange your OSHC with Allianz Care Australia, our preferred OSHC provider, approximately 8 weeks prior to your commencement date.
Allianz Care Australia will then email you a welcome pack so that you are able to deal with them direct.
Policies arranged by Griffith provides students with Essentials Cover which includes additional benefits than what is offered with a standard policy.

You may arrange your own visa length OSHC if you do not want Griffith University to arrange it for you.

If you choose to arrange your own OSHC, you need to:

    1. Provide a copy of your alternate OSHC policy with your Letter of Offer acceptance and
    2. Indicate on your acceptance that you do not require Griffith to arrange OSHC on your behalf.

Note: If you do not do both of these steps, your OSHC will automatically be arranged by Griffith.

    Explanation

Allianz Care Australia will email you directly with your Certificate of Insurance (COI) once your cover has been scheduled. Your policy number will be listed on this document.

Your cover will be scheduled approximately 8 weeks prior to your commencement date.

If you cannot find your Certificate of Insurance (COI), please contact Allianz Care Australia directly. When contacting Allianz Care Australia or completing your student visa application, you can use your Student ID as a reference number. However, please note that your Student ID is different from your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy number.
