Shape your experience at Griffith
During your time at Griffith, you’ll have opportunities to share ideas, influence decisions and work with staff to improve your experience.
Student ideas and feedback have helped shape initiatives, services and improvements across all areas of Griffith.
Ways you can get involved
Whether you want to provide quick feedback or take part in projects and workshops, there are many ways you can get involved.
You can share your ideas, feedback and experiences to help improve the student experience at Griffith. Your voice helps us understand what’s working well, where things can be better and what matters most to students.
Some opportunities are quick and flexible, while others give you the chance to be more involved.
Stay connected to opportunities
New opportunities to share your voice are added throughout the year. You can explore what’s coming up, or join our student community to stay updated.
Other ways to share your voice
At different points you may also be invited to take part in surveys or feedback activities led by different teams across Griffith.
There are opportunities for you to work in partnership with other students and staff to explore ideas, shape projects, and help design initiatives that improve the Griffith experience. These opportunities give you the chance to go beyond sharing feedback and actively contribute to how things are developed.
The Co-Design Lab
The Co-Design Lab brings students and staff together to work through ideas and challenges in a collaborative way. In the Co-Design Lab, you might:
- explore real challenges or opportunities across Griffith
- share your experiences and perspectives
- contribute ideas and help shape potential solutions
- build on ideas with other students and staff
Sessions are designed to be interactive, welcoming and focused on open conversation.

The Co-Design Lab is located at Brisbane South (Nathan) in the Community Plaza (N66_0.20) and we also host pop-up style engagements at other campuses and online.

Griffith joined Student Voice Australasia (SVA) in early 2023.
SVA is a network of students and staff from tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand who are partnering to foster and embed a culture of authentic, meaningful and inclusive student engagement across the sector. As a member institution, Griffith students can gain free access to practitioner networks, workshops, events and a wide range of resources.
Upcoming opportunities and events
New opportunities to get involved are added throughout the year. From workshops and consultations to events and activities, explore what’s coming up below.
We're currently planning our next round of opportunities and events. Check back soon for updates, or join our Student Voice Community to be the first to know when new opportunities become available.
Student representation
Student representatives are here to advocate for your interests and ensure that your voice is heard and considered in decisions that impact the student experience. Student representatives sit on many of Griffith's committees and also within our Student Associations.
You can also connect with a student representative or you can become a student representative yourself and help to raise the voices of your fellow students.
Become a student representative
Throughout the year there are opportunities to become a student representative across programs, schools, and university-wide committees.
