Mental wellbeing online modules
You are not alone—anxiety is not uncommon and there are strategies to help. This online course supports you with strategies to manage low to moderate levels of anxiety. It is designed to be completed over several weeks, so you have a chance to try out some of the strategies.

This course provides an overview of stress management and introduces evidence-based stress management skills. It also covers specific exam taking strategies for preparation, planning and performance.

Developed by the Counselling and Wellbeing team, the Feeling Low online course supports you with evidence-based strategies for low to moderate levels of depression.

Health and Medical Services
Access preventative and practical help to look after yourself while you study and work. Griffith University Health and Medical Services is an accredited general practice.
We provide a range of medical and ancillary services for students and staff. Currently we offer GP (General Practitioner) consultations, mental health nurse consultations, psychologist and psychiatrist appointments; all vaccinations including flu and COVID-19 vaccinations for students and staff; student immunisations for clinical placement; travel vaccinations; and support for drug and alcohol use, sun safety, smoking cessation, and sexual and reproductive health.

Online booking system
Make an appointment using our online booking system. Please do not make multiple or recurring bookings unless you have organised this with your counsellor, as this will prevent other students from accessing our services. Please note that Skype video counselling sessions cannot be booked online.
