Elizabeth Muir Memorial Prize (Singing) Postgraduate
The Elizabeth Muir Memorial Prize is awarded to a Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) postgraduate classical voice student judged to have best performed two contrasting pieces in the competition.
The prize is valued at approximately $1,500. The donor is the parents of the late Elizabeth Moore.
Applications close on Friday 13 March 2026 at 4pm.
To be eligible to perform in this competition, you must be a graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (or other approved institution) and enrolled to undertake postgraduate studies at the Queensland Conservatorium this year.
All postgraduate voice students are eligible for entry.
Candidates are to perform two contrasting pieces not exceeding 10 minutes.
Candidates are required to provide their own accompanist.
Forms will be available on the Scholarships Noticeboard and on this page.
Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Order of appearance will be drawn with accompanists grouped together then in alphabetical order and published on the Scholarships Noticeboard.
Adjudicators to be appointed with the approval of the director - no adjudicator may be the teacher of a student who is competing.
Previous winners of this award are ineligible to enter.
