Cycling to Griffith campuses
Cycling is a healthy and cost-effective way to get to and from campus. Griffith provides several bike racks and end-of-trip facilities like showers and lockers across all campuses to make the staff, students and visitors’ commutes more convenient.
Please note that Griffith Rd at Brisbane South (Nathan) is unsuitable for cyclists and pedestrians due to safety reasons. Johnson Path should be used as an alternative route.

Bike racks
You can access several free bicycle parking rails conveniently located at different areas around campus.
To avoid theft, it is recommended that cyclists use solid metal D-lock clamps to secure their bike. Do not chain your bicycle to fences, railings, buildings or fire hydrants. Bicycles may be removed where they present a hazard, break fire safety regulations or have been deemed abandoned.
Cyclists can request access to daily use bike racks inside the end of trip facilities at Brisbane South (Nathan) and Brisbane South (South Bank) campuses by submitting an End-Of-Trip Access Request request.

Available end-of-trip facilities include lockable bike shed, showers and lockers for personal belongings. Please note that these facilities are only available at Brisbane South (Nathan), Brisbane City (South Bank) and Gold Coast campuses.
