Work with us when preparing your learning resources.
We can assist with access to learning resources so they comply with the University's statutory licences. Generally, you can copy and communicate copyrighted material to Griffith students or staff for educational purposes. However, you cannot provide the material to the public or promote the material through marketing or other commercial activities.
Different rules apply depending on your use:
- Teaching within Learning@Griffith applies when staff deliver lectures, classes and tutorials for their Griffith students.
- Teaching outside of Learning@Griffith applies if you are:
- Creating course content outside Learning@Griffith, approved through a VLE Enhancement Request (unless the Copyright and Information Policy Officer advises otherwise, in which case you will be eligible to use additional teaching materials).
- Delivering a micro-credential course to non-Griffith staff or non-Griffith students (unless the Copyright and Information Policy Officer advises otherwise, in which case you will be eligible to use additional teaching materials).
- Making educational resources for use outside of Griffith.
