Mandatory training  for all employees

All employees, regardless of their employment status are required to enroll and complete modules within the Griffith Mandatory Training Program. This Program covers the core training required that will help meet our legislative requirements, and ensure we work in a safe work environment.

This Program consists of 6 core modules:

• Health & Safety Induction
• Emergency Response & Evacuation
• Fraud & Corruption
• Cyber Security
• Code of Conduct
• Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence

Mandatory training for specific roles and restricted areas

Additional training may also be required based on your role or work location. The following document collates the University-wide mandatory training requirements for Griffith employees and HDR candidates who hold specific roles or work in restricted areas that require special safety training.

This training is supplementary to the core mandatory training modules required by all staff listed above.

Supervisors have discretion to assign additional training to a staff member, HDR candidate, visitor, or other relevant personnel as required. Please discuss with your manager which training will be required for your role.

Your personal training completions

You can review your personal staff training completions on the My Training Summary tile in the Staff Portal by navigating to My Staff Page > Training and Online Resources.

Your team's training completions

If you are a supervisor or manager, you can review the training completions of your team on the My Team's Training Summary tile in the Staff Portal by navigating to My Staff Page > Training and Online Resources.

NOTE. Completion reports are available for download through the Griffith Safety Training Completions Tableau dashboard. If working off campus, you will need to be logged into the Griffith VPN to access.
